  • Player registration (players): team/region, address, city, state, ZIP/postal code, phone number, gender, age/DOB, height, weight, shoe size, jersey size, and optional social handle/name.
  • Spectator registration (fans): email, name, phone number, address/city/state/ZIP, region/country, age (as required by the registration form).
  • Profile content: bio text, theme preferences (background color, card color, font choices), headshot photo.
  • Profile gallery: photos you upload to your player profile (up to a limited number as shown in-app).
  • Highlight videos: video URLs you add to your profile (e.g., YouTube/Vimeo links).
  • Availability: updates you submit about whether you are available and optional notes.
  • Support messages: anything you send to us for support, feedback, or bug reports.

B) Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage data: basic app usage events, timestamps, and diagnostic/error logs.
  • Network info: IP address and related request metadata (for security and operations).
  • App identifiers: app version and basic device details (to debug and improve reliability).

C) Permissions (only when you allow)

  • Camera / photo library: to upload headshots and profile gallery images.
  • Notifications: to send relevant league updates if you enable them.
Third‑party links: If you tap a YouTube/Vimeo link, those services may collect information independently. Their privacy policies apply.

3) How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide core features: account creation, registration, profiles, teams/rosters, stats and leaderboards, availability, and admin operations.
  • Operate the league: roster management, eligibility checks, scheduling, and communications.
  • Security: prevent fraud/abuse, enforce policies, and protect the Services.
  • Support: respond to questions and resolve issues.
  • Improve reliability: troubleshoot errors and improve app performance.

4) What May Be Visible to Others

Depending on your role and app settings, certain information may be visible to other users. Examples may include:

  • Player name, team name, headshot, and bio.
  • Player stats and leaderboards (e.g., points/rebounds/assists/steals).
  • Player gallery photos and highlight video links (if enabled).
  • Availability status (if shown to teammates/admins).

Admins may have additional access to manage league operations and enforce rules.

5) How We Share Information

We may share information in limited circumstances:

  • Service providers: hosting/storage, email delivery (e.g., SendGrid), and other vendors that help operate the Services.
  • League operations: coaches/staff/admins may access information required for league management.
  • Legal and safety: to comply with law, protect users, prevent abuse, or enforce our Terms.
  • Business transfers: if UB League is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
No sale of personal information: UB League does not sell your personal information.

6) Data Retention

  • We keep account and league data while your account is active and as needed to operate the Services.

  • Update profile: players can edit certain profile items in-app (bio/theme/media) where enabled.
  • Delete content: where enabled, you can remove uploaded profile media (photos/videos).
  • Account deletion: contact info@ubleague.com to request deletion.
  • Notifications: you can manage push notification permissions in device settings.

9) Children’s Privacy

The Services are not intended for children under 14. In order to use the app you must be 18 or older. If we learn that we collected personal information from a child without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete it.

10) International Users

If you access UB League from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate.

11) Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last Updated” date above. Material changes may be communicated in-app or by email.
